The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
by Suzanne Collins
Release date: May 19th
The Hunger Games is one of my favourite trilogy’s ever, so when I heard about this prequel novel I got super excited! It will follow the 10th Hunger Games, 64 years before the events of the first book. I will be surprised if this doesn’t make my top books of 2020 list.
Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power
Release date: July 7th
As Wilder Girls was one of my top books of 2019, I’m highly anticipating Rory Power’s second standalone novel to be released in the summer. I’m hoping for some more messed up goodness. This cover is also just as stunning as Wilder Girls.
Night of the Dragon by Julie Kagawa
Release date: April 2nd
I have been following the Shadow of the Fox trilogy since it’s release in late 2018, I have managed to receive eARCs for the first 2 books in this trilogy from Netgalley and really hope I also get to read and review the conclusion novel early too. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and hope the last book ends well.
Loveless by Alice Oseman
Release date: July 9th
After having picked up her Heartstopper graphic novel series and loving it, I also picked up and read 2 of Alice Oseman’s novels last year and loved them too. I plan on reading We Were Born for This before the release of Loveless but hers are some of the only YA contemporary books that I enjoy reading.
