Browsing Bookshelves: Lauren @ Northern Plunder

I have known Lauren aka Sizzle aka the owner of Books and Tea discord server since I joined it back in August last year and she has been such a huge help in my blogging journey and is just an all-round awesome gal.

She started doing this series on her own blog and I decided it might be fun to do and she agreed, you can see her post browsing my book shelves here.

Basically we swap pictures of our book shelves and go through picking out books we have read, would recommend, want to read e.t.c. So let’s get started!

Let me know in the comments any books from her shelves that you have read and loved!

Have Read and Recommend –
Vicious by V.E Schwab: was my first Schwab book I ever read and I loved it! Have yet to pick up the sequel but will hopefully get to it this year.
Shiver by Junji Ito: I know me and Lauren are both big fans of Junji Ito, the master of horror manga. I have yet to pick up Tomie and Uzumaki but have read his 3 short story collections.
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black: I actually read this book because Lauren talked about it so much in BooksandTea and am glad I did, loved it.
Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan: I think we both read this around the same time when it came out last year and both loved it, can’t wait for the sequel this year.

Want To Read –
Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik: I was gifted this for our Xmas discord swap and still havn’t picked it up! 😦

  1. afj;dslkjasd;lfsda;kljafds; I’m SO jealous of the three copies (EACH) of TCP and TWK, I adored TCP and I’ve heard TWK is just as good … but haven’t gotten around to reading it yet, maybe because I know then I’ll just have to wait for QoN πŸ˜… also I will probably never be over how pretty the Raven cycle books are, I own the ebooks but I love the books so much and I want like 20 copies.

I see lots and lots of books that I’ve heard good things about, but not a ton that I’ve actually read! hm. Spinning Silver and Caraval are great, as are Vicious & Vengeful & ADSOM. and Labyrinth Lost wasn’t my absolute favorite but it was pretty good too!
