Review: A modern day thriller, this book gripped me from start to finish. Molly and Grace used to be best friends, and a bit more, growing up in the seaside town of Lyme Regis until they were forced apart when Charlotte is found dead. Molly and Grace were the last ones to see Charlotte alive but there wasn’t enough evidence to pin them for the murder. Years later after having no contact with each other, Molly finds Grace again, but is Grace the Grace she remembers? What really happened to Charlotte all those years ago?
The story is told from the perspectives of Molly, Grace and old diary posts. The more you read, the more the past unfolds but this book kept me guessing until the very end. I found the writing style very easy to follow and read and made me care about what happened to these girls. But what did happen to them?
This book also has LGBT representation and deals with domestic abuse and alcoholism.
